There’s this one particular rage among us Malaysians recently: the poodle-abuse thingy and it has got almost everybody on their toes. These people went to the extent of hacking the abuser’s Facebook and got hold of all their personal details, organised petitions and protests, making dozens of police reports, got SPCA from Singapore and Malaysia and all animal rights activists involved and whatever you saw on Facebook etc. Even newspapers reported this issue umpteen times.
The thing is, Malaysians in general love to poke their nose deep into ‘unimportant’ matters. Not to say, I condone any act of cruelty on animals. If only these people showed the same enthusiasm in more pressing national concerns say, corruptions, crimes, economy etc. Wasn’t bombing a certain Mongolian model with C4 explosives way ‘crueler’ than this? Weren’t trigger-happy cops more crazier than this? What about the death/suicide/murder of a political aide? Or how about the cops who beat the shit out of a certain frame-maker just because of expired road tax? What about.. The list goes on.
Sleep on that. Or watch V for Vendetta if you haven’t.
Went on a spending spree last week at Lowyat and One Utama, lol. Got myself a brand new Nokia X3 Touch and Type, one BUM Equipment t-shirt, two Ecko Unltd t-shirts and one Romp jeans. Total bomb dropped on my wallet: RM830 worth of explosive fire power, LOL. But I liked it, cause I was spending what I earnt myself.
To own this t-shirt is one thing, to wear it is another.. Hahaha!
Yay yay, showing off.. xD
Switched from a die-hard Sony Ericsson’s fan to Nokia this time round. SE was pretty disappointing lately. Very happy with this new phone so far! 😀
I feel like a girl, updating people about my shopping loots.. LOL!
I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult.
I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8-year-old again.
I want to go to McDonald’s and think that it’s a four star restaurant.
I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make ripples with rocks.
I want to think M&Ms are better than money because you can eat them.
I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer day.
I want to return to a time when life was simple. When all I knew were colors, multiplication tables, and nursery rhymes, but that didn’t bother me, because I didn’t know what I didn’t know and I didn’t care.
All I knew was to be happy because I was blissfully unaware of all the things that should make me worried or upset.
I want to think the world is fair. That everyone is honest and good.
I want to believe that anything is possible. I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited by the little things again.
I want to live simple again. I don’t want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip, illness, and loss of loved ones.
I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow.
So, here’s my checkbook and my car keys, my credit cards and all my responsibility.
I am officially resigning from adulthood. And if you want to discuss this further, you’ll have to catch me first, ’cause,
Completed this baby two weeks ago and I forgot to give it a customary review post on my blog. Did upload one photo to Facebook though, hehe.
Without further ado, I present to you TT Gao Gao’s HG 1/144 Exia Repair II :
As you can see from the photo, the colours are top-notch; absolutely comparable to Bandai’s version. Now why did I get another Exia when I already have the normal 1/144 Exia, and the 1/100 Avalanche Exia? The normal Exia, which happened to be one of my earliest Gundams, sucked. Was noob and inexperienced back then, lol. The Avalanche Exia isn’t exactly Exia per se, so yeah. And last and best of all reasons, Exia Repair II came with shiny green GN-sword, haha!
Assembly process was nothing new, all the usual snapfits and clicks you would expect for HGs. At first glance, Exia Repair II doesn’t seem so different from the normal Exia. But I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed with the amount of detailed differences between those two. Find out for yourself as I am lazy to take pictures from various angles to show the differences, hehe.
One thing that bothered me about this kit was the loose neck-joint, making the head go extremely wobbly. Don’t know if it’s only mine or others are the same. But anyway, popped off normal Exia’s neck-joint and replaced it on the Exia Repair II’s, hehe. And now I’ve got a perfect Exia Repair II standing on my table.
Next on my list are two MG Exia Ignition Mode; one for the normal mode and another for the repair mode. Why another TWO Exia again? Well, these two are bigger, even more detailed, and they come with a cloak each! They don’t call Master Grade Gundams master grade for nothing, LOL!
